Katt Business OS ("KattsOS")

1. Data We Collect

• Account data: name, email, password (hashed, never plaintext).
• Billing data: subscription tier, payment status. Card details processed directly by Paystack — we never store them.
• Business data: bookings, invoices, customer records, expenses you input.
• Technical data: IP address, browser type, usage logs for security and improvement.

2. How We Use Your Data

We use your data to: operate the Service, process payments, authenticate accounts, send essential communications, monitor for abuse, and improve the product. We do not sell your personal data.

3. Third-Party Sharing

• Paystack — processes payments (see Paystack Privacy Policy).
• Supabase — backend hosting, database, and authentication.
• We may disclose data when required by law or to protect rights and safety.

We do not share data with third parties for their marketing.

4. Data Retention

Data is retained while your account is active. After account closure, data is kept for 30 days for recovery/legal purposes, then deleted.

5. Data Security

We use HTTPS encryption, database access controls, and password hashing. No system is 100% secure.

6. Your Rights

• Access and correct your data
• Request deletion and account closure
• Export your business data
• Withdraw consent for optional communications

7. Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

8. Policy Updates

We may update this policy. Material changes will be notified via email or in-app notice. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
